The Ready for Growth (RfG) team-training program at Macmillan Learning is designed to foster a problem-focused, customer-centric mindset while equipping participants with the tools and skills to drive strategy forward. Through a tailored curriculum, participants will learn to validate problems effectively, collaborate and innovate with peers, and experiment with solutions to deliver greater value to our customers. By reshaping thinking and methods, RfG empowers teams to learn, create, and implement ideas that address real-world challenges and contribute to our organization’s growth and success.
Skills / Knowledge
- Problem Identification & Analysis: Participants will learn to identify and define problems worth solving by mapping stakeholders and conducting structured interviews. Skills Obtained: Ability to define clear problem statements. Conduct effective stakeholder analysis and mapping. Perform structured problem interviews to gather insights.
- Solution Development & Prototyping: Teams will apply problem-solving techniques to design, test, and iterate prototypes based on feedback and data. Skills Obtained: Use of problem-solving frameworks to generate solutions. Prototyping and testing ideas through iterative processes. Collect and analyze feedback to validate solutions.
- Concept Development & ROI Analysis: Participants will develop data-driven concepts, create business cases, and calculate ROI to measure and communicate the value of their solutions. Skills Obtained: Business case development for proposed solutions. Concept creation supported by data-driven insights. ROI calculation to assess impact and feasibility.
- Post-Training Application: Teams will apply customer-centric tools and methods to address day-to-day challenges and facilitate innovation within their teams using the ML toolkit. Skills Obtained: Application of customer-centric tools in real-world scenarios. Idea validation and implementation of practical solutions. Ability to leverage tools and coaching for ongoing challenges.
