Manage@ML

The Macmillan Learning Management Training Program invests in managers to ensure their continued growth and success. The program goal is to offer training that provides managers with concrete managerial skills that they can immediately implement while positively impacting productivity, employee development, team interaction, culture and, ultimately, ML profitability. Participants in the Manage@ML program will: • Set up weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports and apply best practices from Radical Candor to facilitate productive conversations. • Write competency based interview questions to provide a systematic approach to hiring to allow the hiring team to measure candidates against each other and help prevent unconscious bias. • Try new time management techniques to increase productivity while working remotely and share best practices with their teams. • Understand how key performance indicators connect performance to incentives and develop key performance indicators for company goals. • Initiate conversations with direct reports on alignment to company goals, career management and work environment. • Learn the meaning of diversity, inclusion, belonging and unconscious bias and reflect on how they are showing up as an inclusive leader.
